Now that you've smiled at least once, it's your turn to spread the stupidity and send this to someone you want to bring a smile to (maybe even a chuckle). We all need a good laugh, at least once a day!

Ted says grab a cup of steaming joe and read the online issue- vote for your favorite story...then order the print issue!
We are offering a good deal for those who order during the month of October! Only $7.00 for a print issue. Prices go up in November.
July online vote winners
33% Good Intentions by Elliot Richard Dorfman
10% Virtuoso by Gustavo Bondoni
10% Sam Catches His Breeze by Roberts Collins
All other stories received less than 5% of the votes cast by readers.
One or all of these could appear in a future print issue!
Keep voting! Write your comments in the guest book- let our authors know how much you enjoy their hard work.
The authors names appear in no particular order- so scroll down to find your favorite and vote. The list will remain online until the end of 2009.
The author with the highest number of votes will receive:
1. Our January 2010 print issue- with our compliments.
2. Our April 2010 print issue- in which they will be the Featured Author- complete with an interview!
3. If the winner has any books out, they alone will be featured on the back cover of the April print issue- otherwise we will continue to help promote the fantastic writers who have been a part of our magazine over the past two years.
4. A certificate indicating that they are the 2009 favorite author- suitable for framing.
5. A check for $25.00 (not bad for a low budget magazine!)
The winner will be announced at the end of January-so tell all your friends, fans and family to cast their vote for you.

You may vote for more than one author
This is the first year we have had funds to pay a cash prize to the winning author- and we hope to be able to up the ante each year. The winning author for this year will not be eligible for 2011 favorite author votes, but becomes eligible in 2012 again.
Contest winners are eligible- so get busy! The latest writing contest, Unusual Alien Life Forms end November 15th- and offers cash prizes (check out our contest section) Use the contest submission form to prevent confusion (it's available via the contest section)
If your name was left out, let us know quickly. We ain't perfect- we're just too darn cute to be mad at...so send us a note.
Congratulations to Elliot Richard Dorfman- who won the 2008 favorite author votes. While we didn't have a cash award for 2008- he will be eligible for 2010 voting- and we hope to be able to present more of his work both online and in print.
Our next contest will be a bit different- we are using a picture to inspire you to write a story- so you will want to mark your calendars to check back during the Christmas Holidays to see what we have in store for you...
and as always- Thank You all for sending us such awesome stories. I wish I could share all the wonderful remarks I get from other writers and our readers who tell me how much they have enjoyed a particular story or author....so please, share your comments in our guestbook. We just don't have time to post all the remarks.
Now get busy and vote! Then get those brain cells busy and write, write, write! Even if you don't send it to us- keep on writing! There is some truly astounding talent that has passed our way, we are proud to have offered your work to our readers!
